One of the many awesome things about Greg’s new job in Ann Arbor is that he gets to work with fun people who do an NFL bracket every weekend. This weekend (Greg’s second participating in the pool), Greg won! He guessed the right teams would win each game and for that he won $90! He will have to deduct the cost of donuts for all the losers, but still a pretty fun bonus in these difficult economic times. : P

Jenna: Pregnancy Update 31 Weeks
October 9th, 2008 · No Comments
I am now 31 weeks preggers, almost 32.
Today we had an appointment with the head of the midwives and she declared this pregnancy perfect. Baby Acorn has settled into having his head down towards my pelvis and is unlikely to move it, making our chances of having a breech baby very slim. My blood pressure is nice and low, my weight gain is on track, baby’s heart rate is awesome, and he’s a nice size.
We are 4 weeks into our birth-preparation class. Overall, it’s very informative and a good thing. Sometimes they talk about the nurses and hospital staff being very antagonistic towards the birthing mother and the baby, but deep down I know that this won’t be the case and everything will go fine. We are really happy we are using the midwives.
There are two pictures of me after the jump. One shows me holding my special pregnancy medicines! (They are actually bags of nettles and raspberry leaves).

Greg and I both have had good news when it comes to our jobbies.
Greg has been assigned to his next project with Granger Construction. It’s in Ann Arbor, which is awesome. He is very excited to be back on a project that has actual construction underway.
And I got a raise! Whoopie!
