Nothing Interesting

Really, I’m just trying to keep myself in the habit of posting.

Jenna and I went to Atonement on Tuesday night.  It turns out that Tuesday is senior three dollar ticket night, so we were 40-50 years younger than the average age of the crowd.  The movie was pretty good, though the protagonist is the least-redeemable character ever to be portrayed, ever.  I think the best part of the night though was the preview for Young@Heart, a documentary about a choir of senior citizens who sing rock and roll songs (The Clash, James Brown, Sonic Youth, I think I heard Zeppelin…) throughout the world.  I definitely will want to see that one.

Other than that, I met up with Dustin at Leopold Bro. on Friday night while Jenna and Metta went to see Bat Boy, and then we hung out at the Dwyer’s afterwards.  This weekend we mostly sat around and read, as we are both reading Stephen King’s Dark Tower series.  It is very engrossing – I recommend it for anyone who likes epic stories.  It is not a horror novel by any means.

Well, that’s it for my lunch break.
